Welcome, and thanks for visiting this site! We hope you’ll join us this summer. The two-day workshop will provide academic researchers with a dynamic overview of the photovoice methodology. In addition, each participant will have the opportunity to conceptualize and begin developing a specific photovoice project. The workshop will be led by Dr. Amanda O. Latz, Associate Professor at Ball State University (BSU) and photovoice methodologist. Space is limited to 18 participants; workshop registration is now open. All attendees will receive Photovoice Research in Education and Beyond: A Practical Guide from Theory to Exhibition, by Dr. Latz.
We will also be hosting a one-day photovoice conference for academic researchers. Experience an academic conference focused solely on photovoice! The purpose is to bring together scholars currently engaged in better understanding and using the photovoice methodology to advance our collective knowledge and application of the approach. We will feature a Keynote Address from Dr. Amanda L. Miller, Assistant Professor at SUNY Cortland. We are now accepting conference proposals and registrations.
Hope to see you this summer!
